but seriously, if this doctor is correct, and tracy is never going to have back problems again, could we be looking at a rockets championship?
even with McGreaty (sorry) healthy and Yao doing 30 and 12, is it enough to beat PHX, DAL, or SA in a 7game series?
Patrick?anyone? could Luther, Shane, and the rest of the guys give enough support? Jimi's got a point; they look great lately. But are they good enough?

If Yao comes back and plays like he did before the injury, and Tracy stays healthy, I think the Rockets have as good a chance as anyone...and I'll tell you why.
Defence. The Rockets have the best defence in the league. Ever since they got Battier, this team almost has a different mindset.
Keep in mind, they are doing this with a 14 man roster. Sura hasn't played a lick and will not ever again. They gambled and they lost. Also, they haven't had their backup 2 gaurd, Snyder, most of the season. And Wells has now missed 23 games this season.
I think they have all the pieces...they just need them to play together long enough to know how to play together.

defense is a good point, and in the end, SA/DET/HOU all have chances to stop the ridiculous monstrosity that is PHX (they say defense wins rings, right?), but honestly i'm nervous. with yao injured, amare has the capability of being THE strongest big man. and we all know about Steve. so... do we question the abilities of raja bell? leandro barbosa? matrix? i know they lack defense as a team, but i don't know if anyone can stop em.
I dunno dude, I might be more worried about Dallas right now. 11 in a row has to mean something. And clearly Dirk has a adamantium skeleton.
I think phx is good, but I don't see them winning a 7-game series against a healthy houston, san antonio, or dallas. They lack too much on the defensive end.
That game will honestly come down to how well Skip does for the rocket's. I always tell you guys regular season is only about who gets to the playoffs. Once the show starts it is a whole new story.
dude i think you're crazy. phx is too good. D or no D. its not like they have NO defensive presence, just less than hou,sa,det, and maybe a few others. and don't forget that amare still isnt 100%. do you have no respect for amare? you act like big ugly amare can't stop anybody.
although i have to admit that dirk is insane and there is always the chance that he will freak out and kill everyone. i hate dirk. he's too good. adamantium indeed.
