Mad Max

I'm sure you all have been eagerly awaiting my next pistons-loving post, so without further ado:

Man i love this guy. Maxiell. I still can't believe he came in 9th for 6th man.

I thought Detroit would have to do more doubling than they are used too with howard. They hardly doubled him at all. 4-5 bigs took turns on Howard last night, starting with Jason Maxiell, who i thought was great on howard. Yeah, howard beat him a time or two, but what other 6'7" player could guard Howard single coverage.

Then, in the 4th quarter, Max was doing his Rip impression, draining 15-17 footers.

Detroit was masterful with exploiting matchups, and getting to ball to the right guy last night. Lets hope they keep it up.

After such a good win, detroit better not go into cakewalk mood and make things close.

Just curious, has anyone watched a DET game this postseason? I know it isn't easy since they don't get televised much.

Woooooooooooooooooo!

Pardon me. But, man, i am hype after that win just now. (game 4, by one point, on the road). Orlando was raining 3s and it was starting to look pretty grim. At the beginning of the 3rd we went down by 14. After that though it was pure veteran basketball.

As y'all know, i am normally pretty even tempermant. There is nothing in the day-to-day that comes close to giving me the anxiety and relief i can get from watching Pistons in the postseason. Sure is fun going through the highs and lows. Well, the highs anyway.

So we up 3-1, and we did it without our ringmaster, Chauncey Billups. Who really does normally control everything for our offense. Lindsey Hunter came in and played great. Though, i hardly noticed Maxiel, he needs to be rolling.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
