i want beantown

I said b4 the playoffs i don't want to play CLE, but now i really want Boston to win. I also really want it to go 7 games, so they still won't have a road win.

Boston's first series, i thought maybe it was just tough shaking off that rust from late season coasting. That, combined with ATL's athleticism. But dang, it seems like they can't ever close out a close game, or of course, win on the road. They can't even get the ball to allen or pierce in the 4th quater. Rondo had the second most shots in their last game; i mean, what are they doing? Where is the coaching to get those guys touches?

Pre-playoffs, i thought detroit would have a good chance against Boston. But now i really like our odds on them. We'd only have to steal one road game, and that'd be a wrap. And detroit plays well on the road. Last game's a good case in point:D
================
FYI-i don't think Billups will be back tonight, but i think he'll be back if it goes 6. Playoff injuries suck. Kobe looked like a cripple last game, albeit, on ethat is awesome at bball. Hope he is alright, too.

I'd want the Cs too. I think people are finally wising up to the fact that this team is broken. Never was that good, and has no chance of making it to the finals.

Your rookie pg taking more shots than anyone else? Come on. Though, you really gotta credit Cleveland's coaching on that. That was their defensive strategy. Problem with the Celtics is their coach is a moron and he couldn't figure out how to counter.

Oh, and I love how Magic said their defense isn't good. Now there are two people saying it!

I admit, i thought they were better than they are seeming now as well. Maybe if you spend a season beating everyone by 15 points, you don't get enough experience in close, high-pressure games, hehe.

To me, Mike brown seems like an awesome defense coach, but not a very good offense coach. Just like those tnt guys always say, why do the always run the same play--Lebron takes the ball and goes 1 on 5.

Z has been completely awesome this postseason. Only consistant player they got lately.

I love Z. Unlike that chump on the Magic, he has a nice outside shot.

i dunno, i think the Cs are good compared to the rest of the east.
their homecourt D has been really good, even if they have had some rough shooting patches and can't seem to win on the road.
(speaking of which, who the heck is Delonte West?! watching this series, i think he's my MVP for the cavs right now. his defense and energy are GREAT!)
if i thought cleveland was worth a crap, i'd agree with shasher here, cause i still don't think bos is as good as pretty much any west contender but i just can't see delonte west pulling it off. cleveland looks too confused at times and boston's homecourt advantage appears to be all they need to beat this caliber of team (even if the coaching fell off by letting rondo shoot so much).

having said all that, if i was tom, i'd be hoping for the Cs too. if i'm NOH/SAS/LAL/UTA i'm hoping for em too.

Boooosssstooon! Booooosssstoooon!
Boooosstttooooon!
((the tune of the old "Daryl" (as in strawberry) chants.))

I'm getting started early. Whether they win or not against Cleveland, i'm getting started.

btw, for those not familiar with the Darrly chants. The above is a jeer, not a cheer;)
