Delonte West has forced me...

to retract my assertion that the cavs were better last year. he's just what they needed. kudos to whoever made that decision. that guy is bad ass.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not...

Gotta love Simmons:

Poor guy.

thats a funny article.

no sarcasm, i feel like West is the best guy lebron has right now. his D is fantastic, and he is very energetic.
(granted, i haven't seen him play much other than the playoffs this year, but hey.)

Yea, and what about Szerbiak? Who knew he could hit shots like this?

wow...it just goes to show, only someone who really loves something can tear it down so effectively.

Well said Patrick. As funny as it was, I also felt genuinely sorry for him. As a fan, I can certainly sympathize when my team isn't playing to their potential. My head would have exploded if I had to root for the C's this offseason.

Funny, I was actually a HUGE fan of the trade at first but I'm just not sure they'll get the full benefits until early next season (kinda opposite of most critics who didn't seem to like the trade).

Delonte West was touted as a very promising youth over the past few years but, as far as I know, he was pretty inconsistent. I hadn't had the chance to see him play much (Celtics & Supersonics the last few years) but I remembered him having decent box scores (12-4.5-3.5 in about 35 min) so I was a little disappointed at first too. I do think he's playing very well in this series. I know it sounds mean (I hope nobody here suffered through a lisp unknown to me) but every time he talks, I can't help but smile.

When Wally was KG's #2 a few years back in Minnesota, he was incredible from the outside. I think everyone kinda assumed those days were long gone though.

I most impressed w/ Joe Smith. I know McHale got in trouble a while back trying to sign him under the table somehow and he always underacheived. He's been superb in this series though.

Looks as if LeBron will have to pull off the game 7 in Boston if he wants to see the Pistons.

yea i really didn't expect BOS to fall apart like this. i assumed they would kill everyone in the east until detroit beat em. but now i'm not so sure.
delonte and co look better than i expected, and unless doc rivers reads simmons, i don't really think much is going to change here.
if all bronkeykong has to do is win ONE game in bos, i like his chances. heck, at halftime yesterday (during BOS/CLE) i was giddy with anticipation after watching him go off in the first half. i thought i was about to bear witness.
but they buckled under the pressure. although, i have to give credit to the Cs D there. even though they have played really poorly on the road this post season, they have some damn good D at home in the 2nd halves so far.
kinda makes me wonder about the rivers/tibedo situation...

made me laugh out loud...

I still thought Delonte West was pretty inconsistant until this series. Though i agree, he always brings excellent energy. And Szerbiak has been inconsistant prior to this series too. I am still not completely sold on them, seems like they mostly jsut show up at home. Though i haven't payed too mcuh attention to their stats. I just know they have had a couple big games; i know out of nowhere West was huge in that one game.
