Detroit has now played 10 consecutive quarters of incredibly solid basketball. May not seem like much, but after the shaky start, it is providing room for more optimism in my brain.
If they can manage to be this solid throughout, and (as we all know) this is a big "if," they will be a very tough team to get past, even for the giants of the west. =======
Det started their last game with a 10-0 run and lead by as much as 33. For this Piston team, the enormous smackdown isn't as big of a accomplishment as the fact that they were as sharp leading by 25 as they were leading by 2. Which is often a time were the pistons are very susceptible to their infamous focus problems. ========
My prediciton of DET in 5 is due to the fact that i gotta have faith we will stay sharp. Projecting my thoughts into reality for the win!
