Sounds like his finger is pretty messed up. Doctors say it requires surgury, but he doesn't want to miss the rest of the season.
Byron Scott said something interesting. In his day, opponents would swipe at injured fingers on purpose. Especially if they had protective garb. He said the NBA isn't as rough today though. Still, it should be a concern.
What do ya'll think? Will he be productive the rest of the season?

I'm sure he'll be productive. But, i got no idea if he'll be near 100%.. I think kobe's finger along with bynum's injury puts a big question mark next to this season for LAL. We'll jsut have to see come playoffs.
However, i saw a highlight of koby dunking with his bad hand last night. He dunked the hell out if it. II was awesome, and didnt' look very injured, except for the couple pounds of taping or whatever that was.
Lakers went into halftime lastnight with a 73-37 lead. Jeebus!
