as for the doubts about Chicago, I had them too but have since recanted (see CHI-BOS thread)... Patrick - have you been converted too or still pretty confident BOS will prevail?
Way to look ahead Tom :) I’m sticking with the Bulls; just love the way they look right now. The youth pick bit me in my HOU-POR prediction (not complaining as I’d rather Houston win) but since they’re both young teams, I just think CHI might have the edge in defense.?...maybe. I do like to watch both teams play.
Which brings me to fun, run, & gun. Though I always railed against the Suns (especially dantoni & nash) for swearing off defense like it was an affront to their SSOL ideology, I have to give them a little credit. It woke a few GMs/Coaches up to the reality that young teams are more likely to succeed by running. Not only does their athleticism pay bigger dividends, it also addressed the difficulty in getting youth on board with the game plan. Young players are going to be a much harder sell when it comes to preaching tenacious D and methodical (sometimes slow) offense & tempo. Probably something to do with patience and with the difficulty accepting a type/style of game not necessarily reflective of the one they fell in love with. Anyhow, as w/ the Suns, I don’t think they’ll ever be able to beat the top 2-3 teams in the league (those willing to place a strong focus on defense) but it’s amazing the kind of mediocre defensive teams that may fall.

i doubt chicago will actually get past boston, and i think phi has less of a chance to get past orlando.

I know their victories are still within doubt; that is why i said, "just for fun." Dingoberry.
I am torn both ways actually. I think i am going to go with phil. Using size as my excuse to side with them.
even with this latest injury to powe, i still see boston winning this one.
I think if phil and Boston advance Phil will win.
