Chi-Bos

Man, that was a sweet first game for the playoffs. Too bad my tivo stopped with 35 seconds left. Rose was a ton of fun to watch. Seems like he is really good at tough runners.

And the first game was an upset to boot. Happy Joy!

The (baby) bulls have jumped into the favorite spot now right? They just pushed the defending champs to the brink, in both games, on the road, in an arena of the defending champs (in which they only lost one time in the whole postseason last year). Barkley says it’s all the Celtics playing poorly. I know they’re way shorthanded but they seem to be trying pretty hard; I tend to think the Bulls are just outplaying them right now. I know Deng is no Garnett but nobody’s even mentioned the fact that the Bulls are without their star forward.

I know I’m a Laker fan so it’s probably a bit biased but does Paul Pierce annoy the crap out of anyone else?? His 'badass' demeanor just grates on my nerves (when he's not pumped up he doesn't bother me much at all; well, maybe a little but that's because I can't help but think about the last time he stuck his chin out and made that stupid face). I don’t have the same animosity for anyone else on the Celtics so if it is subjective it’s not universal. I even like KG (when he’s not trying to be cool/nonchalant in a conversation w/ Bill Russell at least).

Yeah, both these games were awesome. Gorden and Allen trading baskets at the end was nuts. I was really pulling for the bulls- sucker for underdogs.

I hear what your saying on the self-proclaimed greatest player in the world. He doesn't really bug me. But, he does seem to have too big a head sometimes. Probably part of the reason i pulled for Lal last finals, even though i try to always pull for the east.

Powe is out too. Boston is short two bigs now!

What is with Big Baby's jump shot? Why is it so good? That guy is freakin enormous.

did pierce really say he was the best player on the planet?

I found the source. This interview was in last july.

"¿Es Kobe Bryant el mejor jugador del mundo en la actualidad?"

"No creo que Kobe sea el mejor, el mejor soy yo. Hay una línea que separa tener confianza en uno mismo de ser presuntuoso. Yo no traspaso esa línea pero tengo mucha confianza en mí."

"Is Kobe the best in the world?"

"I don't think Kobe is the best; I am the best. There's a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don't cross that line; but I have a lot of confidence in myself."

Really though, are you guys watching this series? Game 4 was another awesome game. Love it.

I thought kendrick perkins was one of those post vets. I was surprised he is like 24 yrs.

TNT dudes are saying Rondo is the best player so far in the playoffs. We is getting triple doubles, so maybe. But kobe was pretty insane last game(but not the game prior).

Can someone please explain to me how the foul on B Miller by Rondo at the end of game 5 was not flagrant?

There is no way that was a play on the ball. Brad miller was holding the ball out in front of him and Rondo was behind Miller, an arm's length from his head.

It looked to me that if Rondo didn't stop the forward motion of Miller's head (via punch to the munch), he would have made the basket.

Boston can blow me

haha punch to the munch!

I'm glad to see kenny and chuck agree with me (I am watching inside from yesterday now). Because the guys that did the commentary did not do say the same, and i was beginning to wonder if i was crazy.

I am watching ATL and MIA and a flagrant was just called on wade for a play where he was CLEARLY going after the ball. What the heck is going on here?

Game 6 was an ok game to watch. I guess i am the only one watching this series. Yall ain't missing. It is boring. They are not making any big shots.

I feel like Rondo is really getting some favorable calls. Every infraction he receives seems to be downgraded one lv from the penalty he deserves. And I don't like to focus on refs; I'm usually rollin' my eyes when people do. But, i cannot help it this time:)

5 of 6 games decided by 3 points or less.

i would say that if chuck and kenny agree with you, that counts as evidence that you ARE crazy tom.

i watched the series too, and i agree with your Rondo input. he prolly shoulda got tossed for throwing heinrich into that table.

Shasher was saying Rondo is a dick, and after that series i kinda have to agree. but i still respect the skills. that guy is freakin good. i think it's that face he makes when he gets called for a foul. how can you like THAT guy?! haha he makes you wanna give him a punch to the munch!

that's true crazy people can always find solace from other crazies.

I too, a bit begrudgingly, admit that Rondo is frickin good.
