heheh, feels different. Last year detroit was still splitting with the best teams in the league. This year was basically as bad as things could possibly go. You do know the pistons publicly declared stuckey is NOT a pg, right? Officially a combo guard.
And now they are shopping for one. What? You thought we were shopping for bigs, cause we don't have any? True we don't, and yeah we were. But now we are shopping for a pg. Yup, no PG, no bigs.
There is also a good article in denver this week about how denver saw AI was slow in camp this season and they immediately set to trade him before anyone found out. bluffed to get that trade.
Dumars better pull off the miracle signing with all that paper he's saving. Or he will be considered much less clever i imagine, lol.
Oh yeah. And scariest of all. I keep hearing Ben Gordons name lately for who pistons are interested in. Jesus! He is not good enough. You might as well build a team around JR Smith.

i saw em play with chauncey leading up to when they traded him. they sucked really bad. i guess i just don't pay enough attention to how much detroit is sucking on a day to day basis, i'm sure you're right, i'm sure they got WAY worse when he left. whatever. i stopped considering them a threat long before they traded chauncey though. sorry, i feel bad that we're having a conversation about how badly your home team sucks.
i guess it all just comes down to the same discussion we had on the cabin porch a few years ago. you love you some chauncey, and me not so much. he's just aight for me, although i really think he's gotten a lot better in the last few seasons. i feel like he looks better now than he did when they won in detroit (he seems like he's gotten into a nice groove these last few months, leading into the playoffs, no?).

I guess everywhere comes with a bias. In denver, (judging by comments in their newspaper) a lot of nuggets fans think Karl is a boob, and Chauncey is really coaching the team.
