Did anyone watch that game last night? Man, Steve Nash can't play defense for shit and Nelly knew it. I'm hoping the Nuggets fall out of the playoff race and Golden State comes in at 8th. Do you know that they've beaten Dallas 4 times in a row? That team is a pretty good match up against Dallas and Pheonix.
Sorry, but Pheonix is not going to win the championship. They simply suck at defense. If the other team manages to take them out of their offence, its over for them.

Allowing 45 points in the first quarter isnt' that bad!
Seriously, now. I like the suns, who doesn't enjoy fast-paced, 300-point games. Mmany badass ballers that are also good guys. But that quarter mafe made me lose a lot of respect for them. I know its bad to judge a team from just one quater, when they play 100s of them in a year. But. what selfrespecting team would allow such sillyness.
If they are at 34-37 points, and on pace for 45, you gotta figure something out. Even if its just fouling the hell out people. Barkley says it all time about when a team lets someone score 25 points in a period; or, for example, J Richardson makes his first 7 shots- 5 of them 3 pointers (. Chuck says, knock the hell out of them next time they go for a layup (something like that). Send them to the line; throw of their rhythm. A contender
needs to know when to get physical.
Houston wouldn't let that happen. I now rank Phoenix 4th in the west.

Out of these recent posts, this is what i agree with:
1.PHX is not very good at D, although we all know they can turn it on in a pinch (still, stats don't lie)
2.Spurs are probably going to win (although i don't think it should shock anyone to see DET, HOU,PHX or DAL take it all.)
And this is what i would like to point out:
1.As DAL recently found out (twice), PHX doesnt suck at D all the time, and sometimes a stellar Offense can make up for Defensive shortcomings
2.Although SA is doing better after the allstar break (as usual), they are still not as playing as well as i think they could. they've dropped some easy games and missed some clutch shots, which is exactly how they managed to lose rings in the past. They're still my team, but i'm trying to be realistic...
3.My darkhorse is HOU. I know it's not that dark anymore, but there it is.
