It's time to vote for the NBA All-Stars. Here are my picks for the starters:

Forward: Tim Duncan
Forward: Carlos Boozer
SG: Tracy McGrady
PG: Chris Paul
Center: Yao Ming
-EAST-
Forward: LeBron James
Forward: Kevin Garnett
SG: Dwayne Wade
PG: Chauncey Billups
Center: Dwight Howard
I think these are pretty solid teams. I know I left out Kobe in the West which will probably piss him off something fierce but I'm a Rockets fan. Plus if Kobe doesn't start he'll have more to prove coming off the bench so it's a win-win situation. :)
Honestly, I mostly went with players that had the highest efficiency rating. I'm not sure how the chemistry would work but it's an All-Star game and they only play once together so I'm not too worried about it.
Anyone have a better lineup than these?

So, my picks go like this. Duncan isn't having that great a year. And Josh Howard is having a break out year. Kobe has somehow managed to pull things together and that team is winning a lot of games without him scoring like crazy. Yao is the best center in the league. Prince is one of my favorites and the Pistons are off to a great start. Garnett is unbelievable. Dwight is the best center in the easy by leaps and bounds. And damn, that guy can jump.

Jake - Good job on picking LeBron, but he's a forward, not a shooting guard.
If you actually cast a vote on NBA.com it forces you to put LeBron at forward.
Now while I can't argue against Steve Nash cause he's so damn good I chose Chris Paul because he has 3 more points on Efficiency. Nash gets about 2 assists more per game but Paul scores almost 5 points more a game. Now I know the PG is supposed to get assists, not points. But again I refer to the higher EFF rating.
...Oh and one more thing. Patrick you picked Kobe over T-Mac? For shame. :)

And i'm sorry, i'm like 8 years old, and I always vote all pistons in the east, no matter what. So i am just going to pretent i didnt pick them and name 5 other guys.

Foward: Duncan- i've always gone duncan.

Guard: Iverson (i should go for nash, and i'd kinda like to vote in CP, but i always loved Iverson, but never could vote for him cause he was in the east. So i kinda feel like i owe him).
Center: Camby. He is a man, right. And Yao gets a billion votes already.(btw, camby is listed as Center not Foward)
East:

yeah east was easier, i only struggled with wade. Only cause heat are so shit-shitty now. But i guess wade is still awesome, been slowed down a bit with injuries, and long recoveries. And i feel like carter isn't that consistant this year, i could be wrong though, i haven't followed nets a ton lately.
Tracy was having a good year before the knee injury, but damn, the Lakers are looking good. And with all that trade talk, how the hell did they pull it together? Gotta give Kobe some credit.
Props to Camby too. I'd have picked him, but he's a center.
And Tom....Boozer plays in the west. But utah is sucking enough that they could be mistaken to play in the easy.

ok i guess if i had to, i'd use Dwade and Boozer, but i think camby and bron make for better groups. F the rules i think Thomas Bethan is actually a Forward anyways
