Conspiracy Theory

Alright, while it is true that I'm still stinging because of the Rockets' early season INSANELY difficult schedule, I still think that the following is plausible. However, let me know if I'm just being a nut.

The league purposefully gave Boston an easy schedule at the beginning of the season to build up their 3 man team.

This is their schedule:

Washington(4-5) W 103-83
@ Toronto(5-5) W 98-95
Denver(7-3) W 119-93
Atlanta(3-6) W 106-83
@ New Jersey(4-6) W 112-101
@ Indiana(4-6) W 101-86
New Jersey(4-6) W 91-69
Miami(2-8) W 92-91
That...if you're counting...is a combined 33-45. One team with a winning record.

yea i compared HOU and BOS schedules last week and its pretty comical.
i think HOU prolly has the hardest schedule, and BOS certainly has one of the easiest.
were the schedules set before or after the KG deal?

also, if you look at the west/east breakdown, only 4 teams in the east have a .500 + record so far, compared to 9 teams out west...
so i think its at least feasable that BOS just lucked into this quick start by getting the east part of their sched at the beginning. (i looked at the rest of their season and honestly, it doesn't look that much harder. there's a few streaks of tough games, but nothing like HOU has to put up with.)
having said that, i think BOS looks way better than i expected. i mean, DEN is no joke this year and they got shalacked.
