I know this is no Dream Team '92 but this roster is pretty impressive. Has anyone taken a good look at the 2008 Olympic Team?
Here are the main dudes (I'm only listing the big names):
C - Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard
F - Melo, LeBron, Tayshaun Prince
SG - Kobe, Michael Redd
PG - Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Chauncey Billups
Reserve players: Carlos Boozer, Shawn Marion, Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier
Injured Players: Gilbert Arenas, Chris Bosh, Elton Brand, Lamar Odom, Chris Paul, Paul Pierce, Dwayne Wade
That team is sick. When your option at Point Guard is between Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Chauncey Billups and Chris Paul you really can't lose.
It's strange that Allen Iverson didn't get asked to play since he was the captain of the last Olympic Team. And I guess you could add KG in there. But other than that it's a really phenominal team.

James finished the tournament shooting 76 percent from the field -- his percentage actually dropped from 76.5 after he made 11 of 15 shots. He was 8-of-11 from 3-point range -- another U.S. record -- and also led the tournament in that category, hitting 62 percent.
i know one of you guys mentioned something about this earlier, but DANG. i just read this line and i had to re read it a few times before it sunk in.
