I wish i could booooo them everytime i see them (for the rest of my life.) But since really, i'd just be booing the team, and they have nothing to do with it, it'd be out of place and mean.

wholeheartedly agree. I don't if it's the reason I don't like it but I read somewhere, when I first heard rumors of the name, that professional sports teams that don't have a name ending in 's' have x% fewer sportswear sales.
I looked for a while & couldn't find the article. Was hoping to find the exact % (I think it was close to 30%) & measurements (per capita, etc.).
The Thunder... poor Durant. Were the Tornados too obvious or just to devastating to celebrate? What about the 'Okies' or the 'WishWeWereTexans'?
That's pretty interesting. Maybe all the teams without "s"s suck, and it's jsut a coincidence.
** k, i had to look up the other nba teams. Heat, Jazz, and Magic. Maybe, they are 30% suckier than average? :)
I'd be cool with the tornados. Or maybe, the Oklahoma Injuns- has a nice ring to it.
