This is really funny-from his blog. What a cool uncle. The team he is talking about at start is Dallas.
===============================
"It's comical to me that they wanted to play us. First of all, it's comical to me that you're scared of a team, and say that you don't want to play them.
But it reminds me of when I was little. I begged for the My Buddy doll, begged for the My Buddy doll. I kept asking, "Ma, get me the My Buddy. Ma, get me the My Buddy." But my mom couldn't really afford it, so she couldn't get it for me at that time.
So, I kept at it. "Ma, get me a My Buddy. Every other kid got a My Buddy. Mom, I never get anything!" Just making my mom feel bad.
So, my uncle told my mom, "I'll fix this." I didn't know my uncle told my mom that, but he came over with this video and pops it in the machine. I'm like, "Ah, My Buddy!" And it turns out it was the Chucky movie.
All the next week, I'm telling my mom, "Please, don't get me My Buddy. Please, don't get me My Buddy."
So sometimes, what you think you really want, you don't really want. The Mavericks think they want us, and they asked for us, and we ain't gonna be My Buddy. They're gonna get Chucky."--Tyson Chandler, from his blog.

That is fucking hilarious.
On a side note, did you know that the Clippers traded Chandler to the Bulls for Elton Brand? Then the Bulls just let Chandler go. What retards. More for trading away Brand, cause Chandler is really only good cause of Chris Paul.
No, i didn't know that, haha. They are pretty dumb. I think they are cleaning house upstairs though, so maybe the bad decision makers are going. So far jsut the interim coach is gone i think.
At least they got Larry Hughes this season, a guy that admitted he rather be on a bad team so he can have more points. Winner.
haha
man dallas really is gonna get chucky, too
"man dallas really is gonna get chucky, too"
Wow, did they ever. That Chucky-My Buddy analogy is good for CP too. Totally cool guy, but cold as hell on the court.
Yeah - that game cemented Pistol Paul as one of my favorite 3 players in the league right now. I had so much confidence that the experience Dallas had would show in this series. It still might, but I had NO idea what a competitive killer Paul would be. Wow... I mean... wow.
One more note... I'm pretty sure Kobe's locked up the MVP at this point and I think it's a shame. The race for the West has dominated attention for MVP candidates so I think Jimi's analysis can probably be dismissed this year. KG could win it and it'd definitely be right in line but I'm pretty sure it'll be, in order: Kobe, CPaul, KG, LeBron.
Assuming that happens, I think it's a shame. The Lakers closed the regular season strong and the Hornets stumbled a few times toward the end. The problem I've got is that Chris Paul has done more to elevate his team's success than Kobe. Kobe's certainly helped the Lakers steady their way through many of their streaks of injury problems but their success has more to do with improvement from Farmar, Vujacic, Bynum, Radmon and the arrival of Fisher and Gasol.
I love the lakers but just don't agree that kobe deserves it over Chris Paul.
Jeremy, I couldn't agree with you more. Kobe will win it, but Paul deserves it more.
If KG gets it, my conspiracy theory will be complete.
I think it will be Kobe, CP, Lebrown THEN KG. I think KG's MVP movement slowed down a lot after the allstar break.
I do like CP slightly above KOBE for this years MVP. But i really have no problem with Kobe getting it this year. I know Jeremy knows better than I being LA is his team, but i feel that Kobe has really stepped up his on and off the court leadership this year (once the season started;D).
If NOH beat LAL in that last game, they would have probably ended up on top of the West, and CP probably would have won the MVP. But it went the otherway; and with it, so did the MVP, imo.
I have a feeling CP is going to win a lot of MVPs. More than Lebron probably.
