First of all, I just want to say how much I would love to be related to Hubie Brown. I can only imagine what it would be like to have him as a grandfather or uncle.
I'm watching the Denver Nuggets versus the Suns. I've always appreciated Hubie, but I'm finally beginning to worry about his mortality. MF'er is old. So, every time I catch him making comments about anything, I feel this need to pay close attention. Anyways, he has done a fantastic job tonight analyzing and explaining the beauty of Iverson. definitely some quality broadcasting and amazing telestrating.

Second topic for me is the slow start for PHX since Shaq was acquired. I still believe that it was a good move. Mainly because I think Marion would have sabotaged their season. Yet, I thought it was doubly good for PHX because of Shaq's tendency to inject some camradare. Yes, I hate his game, but you have to respect his ability to be endearing, and he is pretty fucking big as well.
So why does PHX all the sudden seem to be average? I'm chalking it up to an adjustment. I'm expecting 3-1st-names to figure it out.

I just wrote this long diatribe about how I hate Carmelo. Then I thought that it wasn't healthy to despise someone so much without ever seeing them in person. So never mind. it's deleted. I wish the best for the nuggets and all their wonderful fans.

Actually, I doubt first-name-cubed can figure it out. Early on, I said they would end up 7th, but with Dallas' recent slump, they might actually trump em. I'm gonna stick to that prediction though. Dallas is the better team.
How much is it gonna suck when all these great teams end up sucking in what could have been the best playoffs evar?

i don't know why shasher insists on hating on the suns. i'm with Love Dick on this one. although, i don't see them finishing with a high seed, cause they have dropped a few and they'll prolly drop a few more before playoff time.
(btw, the games they've lost with shazaam were to NOH,DET,LAL,DEN and philly. and DEN had the best offensive night of their season on that night. they beat MEM,POR, BOS. so, i dunno man it's tough for me to say they're crappy right now)
i also don't think Dallas is a better team. is it just me, or do they suck now that they have kidd? i mean, adjustments are one thing, but they just don't look like a solid team to me. honestly, i was a lot more scared of them before the trade. i dunno. i should prolly just give them the 'adjustment' time that i'm allowing my precious Suns. (last 6 games, dallas lost to SAS,LAL,UTA. they beat SAC,CHI,MIN. so i guess i can't hate too much. at least they're winning the easy ones. and those losses were to the goliaths, so...)
whats more, i don't know how to stay on topic.
i like Hubie too. he's one of my favorites. i wish we could only have JVG, Hubie,Doug collins, and SEAN ELLIOT do the announcing.
and finally, melo. i respect your decision to not openly hate on a stranger dick. it's inspiring. i would love to write a paragraph about how much of a baby that dude is, but i guess i'll just.........

Your analysis of their loses and wins is totally valid. Its hard to say they suck when they've only lost to the best teams. In fact, I don't think they suck. If you get the 7th seed in the west, you're doing something right. But I do think they got worse, and I don't think they will be able to fix it.
Saying Denver had the offensive game of their life is also saying that the Suns have crappy defense. Which, I think, is a more accurate statement. Losing Marion really hurt their D, probably more than Shaq has helped their rebounding.
I agree, the Mavs do look worse now. I'm gonna give them some adjustment time. Kidd is doing a good job of making Dampier look worth more than a 6-11 265 pound pile of dog shit.
Go Rockets! That is 7 straight games of winning by double digits. They aren't just on a winning streak, they are on a killing spree.

if you gave every team completely open 3s all night, i doubt any would shoot 71% as a team unless it was an extremely good shooting day.
granted, bad D prolly accounts for the loss and a lot of the stats, but DEN was NOT MISSING, not even contested shots. 71% 3s? come on shasher

i have to correct my mistake earlier. i was watching that DEN game and at some point in the 4th Q, they were at 71% 3s. BUT they only finished with 62.5%.
