If you hadn't heard, Tracy was out against the Suns due to his back. So much for that quack's gaurantee. However, he did blow up for 45 against dallas before he tweaked it. If the rest of the rockets had shown up that night, the rockets win going away. Tracy had 17 field goals, and the rest of the rockets combined had 17 field goals. Whats up with that! Too many road games thats what.
So, they come home and lead the Suns for 3 quarters. How are they leading when they are missing their two superstars!? I'd like to submit that the rockets are a deep team.
Which brings me to my next point. I know everyone has been raving about the Suns lately, but I want to point out something. They played exactly 7 guys last night. If any of those 7 guys (cept for jones) goes down to an injury, this team is only average. Furthermore, I think they are more likely to go down to injury due to their style of play and this simple equation:
More possessions = More chances for injury
Here is my bold prediction. Suns lose one of their 6 guys for the season and lose in the first round.
Keep in mind, we are just past half way through the season.

so much for that quack, indeed. what was he thinking when he said that crap anyways?
what the rockets need, patrick, is 3 more shane battiers.
and what the suns need, patrick, is exactly what simmons (and you) said they need; one more guy.
and what you need, patrick, a swift kick in the ass. the suns would be average if they lost 3 of their top 6 guys. if they lost just one, they would still easily beat any team in the east (i know, that really doesnt mean squat) and all but a handful in the west.
average?
i've got an equation for you
phx > hou
just because your precious rockets are on the ropes doesnt mean you can start predicting the demise of other, more fortunate teams.
granted, playing only 7 dudes is folly. but predicting a first round exit by the suns? double folly. at this point i would like to refer you to my phx/hou equation (which i'm pretty sure isn't even an equation, but i think should remain for comic value) in which i tell you, in one easily digestible mathematical statement, that your team sucks.
take that.
so you wanna watch that cavs nuggets game tomorrow night or what?
i see...
fortunate is a good description. These guys are lucky they haven't lost anyone already. Playing only 7 guys they way they play is indeed folly.
you just watch...they are gonna lose marion to injury and lose in the first round to houston
just watch
speaking of watching...yes, yes i do.
I just realised that they have lost someone...Kurt Thomas is out 4-6 weeks.
Trouble for them now is that they have an even shorter rotation, and the same style of play.
that was messed up dude i shouldn't have said that about your rockets (though i still think using '>' in that fashion is hilarious).i think i'm just angry about how bad my spurs look lately.
oh yea i forgot about k thomas also. they need more dudes anyhow. 7 is certainly too few.
hey man does shane battier have any twin brothers? or maybe phx could trade an injured k thomas for shane himself...i mean, the rockets don't even USE that guy, do they?
haha...if phx had shane, i would have to become a suns fan
I'm with Jake. The only way the Suns don't make it out of the first round is if Nash has back replacement surgery.
I do agree that 7 is too few to depend upon. Especially with the season as long as it is; they're peaking early and will be exhausted by the time the playoffs are getting hot.
oh btw. I hate you for getting battier.
it doesn't even matter if they get hurt or not, if they don't have a larger rotation than they will be beat up and exhausted.
