On his Denver Nuggets...
Nuggets coach George Karl said. "And some nights I think we're going to do it and other nights I think we're too individualistic in our thoughts, too worried about our shots, our minutes."
Everybody saw this coming. Nuggets are only 2-4 with AI and Melo playing together. They still have a lot of talent and could be dangerous in the playoffs if they get their act together.
Yeah, everyone should have seen this coming back in the mid nineties, when George Karl began his run of extreme underachievement with the Sonics. The Nuggets are so deep at the 4 and 5 positions, but can't be bothered to play any help-defense. Or half court defense. Not to mention that they run no discernable plays. Ahh, the hallmarks of a George Karl team.
